The Headache Center at NeuroHealth

The NeuroHealth Headache Center is dedicated to the accurate diagnosis and long-term management of headache disorders. Headache is among the most common and most disabling neurologic conditions worldwide: approximately two thirds of adults experience headache in any given year, and roughly one in four adults meets criteria for migraine, with women affected substantially more often than men. Our mission is to bring specialized, evidence-based care to this large and often undertreated population.

Founded by Dr. Gary L'Europa. and led by neurologist Dr. Adam Drobnis, the Headache Center is the only facility of its kind in the region.

Our Nurse Practitioner Team

Central to the Center's model of care are our nurse practitioners — Carol Robinson, Kathleen Franchina, and Talia Parenti — each with long-standing tenure and specialized expertise in headache medicine. As advanced practice providers, they are integral to every phase of care: performing comprehensive headache histories and neurologic examinations, establishing diagnoses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, prescribing and titrating acute and preventive therapies, administering in-office procedures, and providing the patient education and longitudinal follow-up that make sustained headache control possible. Their continuity of care and accessibility significantly expand timely access to headache subspecialty services.

Therapeutic Services

NeuroHealth's clinical team is trained in a full range of headache therapies, including:

• Occipital and other peripheral nerve blocks

• OnabotulinumtoxinA (BOTOX®) injections for chronic migraine

• CGRP-targeted monoclonal antibodies and oral CGRP receptor antagonists

• Individualized acute and preventive medication regimens, with attention to medication-overuse headache

• Patient education and lifestyle and behavioral strategies

Together, these services allow us to offer comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for migraine, tension-type headache, cluster headache, and other primary and secondary headache disorders.
